Clavio

Terms of service

Effective 1 November 2026

These terms are an agreement between you (the clinic that creates an account, and the person acting for it) and Sohail Abbas, an individual developer based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India ("Clavio", "we"). By creating an account or using the app you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of a clinic, you confirm you're allowed to.

1. What Clavio is

Clavio is a mobile app for recording sterilization activity in a dental clinic: autoclave cycles, indicator and spore test results, corrective actions, consumable lots, equipment servicing, and reports generated from those records.

Clavio is a record-keeping tool. It is not a regulator, an inspector, a certification body or a substitute for your own infection-control procedures. The protocol presets in the app are starting points we believe are reasonable; you are responsible for checking them against the rules that apply to your clinic and for the accuracy of what your team enters. A record in Clavio shows what was logged; it does not prove that a load was sterile.

2. Your account and your team

3. Records cannot be edited

To be useful at an inspection, records must be trustworthy. Once a record is saved it cannot be edited or deleted by you or by us; corrections are made by adding dated notes. By using Clavio you accept this, including for entries made in error. Deleting the account deletes everything.

4. Subscription, trial and payment

5. Your data

Your records, photos and exports belong to you. We process them only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy. You can export your records as CSV and PDF at any time, and delete the account yourself from Settings.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use Clavio to store anything unlawful, to misrepresent sterilization activity, or to interfere with the service or other clinics' data. Don't reverse engineer the app or resell access. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, after contacting you where we reasonably can.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Clavio available at all times but can't promise it; hosting providers, app stores and phones all fail sometimes. Keep exported packs for anything you need on a fixed date. We may add, change or remove features; if we discontinue the service we'll give at least 90 days' notice and keep exports available during that time.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows: Clavio is provided as is, we don't guarantee it meets every regulatory requirement in every place, and we are not liable for inspection outcomes, regulatory penalties, loss of records caused by your deletion of the account, or indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes go to the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, except where consumer law in your country gives you additional rights that cannot be excluded.

10. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll show the change in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Clavio after that means you accept the new version. The date at the top is the current version.
